Easy Homemade Chocolate or Plain Granola

Ingredients
- Porridge Oats Not quick cook oats
- Nuts and/or seeds
- Honey or maple syrup (or sweetener of your choice)
- A tiny bit of brown sugar
- Coconut oil (or an unrefined oil such as extra virgin olive oil)
- Cinnamon
- A tiny bit of salt
- Dried fruits such as cranberries, raisons, goya berries, cherries etc (optional)
- Dark chocolate chips (optional)
- Shredded coconut
- Twist Teas Cocoa Matcha or Turmeric Cocoa Matcha - they are both delicious (roughly a teaspoon per two cups of granola)
Instructions
- Combine the oats, nuts and seeds, and coconut in a bowl and mix well.
- Combine the honey, brown sugar, oil, cinnamon, Twist Tea Matcha and salt - warm the mixture if necessary to coat the rest of the ingredients easily.
- Spread mixture onto a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.
- Bake at 150’C (fan oven) or 170’C for 20 - 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cool the granola before stirring in the dried fruits and store in an airtight container.
