Not quick cook oats
Nuts and/or seeds
Honey or maple syrup (or sweetener of your choice)
A tiny bit of brown sugar
Coconut oil (or an unrefined oil such as extra virgin olive oil)
A tiny bit of salt
Dried fruits such as cranberries, raisons, goya berries, cherries etc (optional)
Dark chocolate chips (optional)
Twist Teas Cocoa Matcha or Turmeric Cocoa Matcha – they are both delicious (roughly a teaspoon per two cups of granola)
Combine the oats, nuts and seeds, and coconut in a bowl and mix well.
Combine the honey, brown sugar, oil, cinnamon, Twist Tea Matcha and salt – warm the mixture if necessary to coat the rest of the ingredients easily.
Spread mixture onto a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.
Bake at 150’C (fan oven) or 170’C for 20 – 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cool the granola before stirring in the dried fruits and store in an airtight container.
