This unique blend was commissioned by HRH Princess Michael of Kent, but it tastes just as great in a chunky mug or the finest bone china.

Rosehip is one of the main ingredients in Royal Tea.

What is Rosehip?

Rosehips are the ‘accessory fruit’ of the rose plant, that ripen in late summer to early autumn and can be consumed fresh or dried.  Fresh rosehips are often used to make jam, syrup, soup or wine, while dried rosehips are used to make tea. High in Vitamin C, Rosehips have been used for generations in traditional medicine to provide relief from conditions such as sore throat, gout and headache.

What is Rosehip tea good for?

  • Rosehip tea is naturally caffeine free.
  • Rosehips have a high content of Vitamins C, E and B, which provides natural support to the immune system.
  • Rosehips have a higher level of antioxidants than blackcurrants and blueberries, which may provide anti-cancer benefits.
  • Rosehips have been found to have anti-inflammatory properties that may help protect against pain associated with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Rosehips contain a flavonoid called trans-tiliroside which may aid weight loss.

What does Royal Tea taste like?

Royal Tea is a caffeine-free fruity and floral blend of rose and cinnamon, in addition to pear, apple, orange peel and hibiscus.
